About Michael A. Keenan

​

Michael A. Keenan grew up in the St. Louis, Missouri area where his parents instilled in him deep pride in his Native American and Irish heritage as well as a desire to strive towards learning about cultural diversity, tolerance, and the arts.  During his time spent earning his High School diploma, AA, BA, and MA degrees focused on Music and Education, he also focused on gaining artistic skills ranging from composition, animation, and computer programming to drawing in both traditional and digital mediums. 

 

His artistic style entwines love of landscapes inspired by artists such as Bob Ross with love of fantasy inspired by Boris Vallejo, Japanese manga and anime, Chinese folklore, and the many Sci-Fi and fantasy TV series and movies he enjoyed during his childhood.

When not creating, Michael A. Keenan spends time with wife Jessica, family, and fellow AMVETS volunteers dedicated to helping veterans' causes in the US.
